Our Roots

Golden Global Group (3G) has its origins in the vibrant Canadian Ismaili community, particularly those with ties to the districts of Gujarat, India. Fueled by a shared vision for economic progress and social development, members of our community recognized the need to establish an organization that could channel collective efforts towards meaningful goals.

A Collaborative Journey

To understand the specific needs and aspirations of our community, we conducted comprehensive surveys among interested members and their friends and relatives in Barrie, Greater Toronto Area, Guelph, Kitchener, and Niagara Falls. The results of these surveys unequivocally pointed towards the necessity for a united effort.

Subsequent information sessions in Barrie, Guelph, and Toronto delved into the intricacies of forming a legal organization, defining its operations, and establishing clear objectives. This collaborative journey was guided by the insights of three legal experts whose advice played a crucial role in shaping our organizational structure.

Pioneering Structure

In pursuit of a structure that aligns with our objectives, the decision was made to establish a private investment club. Operating under the National Instrument 45-106 within the Securities Act, Ontario, our organization took the form of a 'Limited Partnership,' with operational control vested in a Corporation as the General Partner.

On July 19, 2010, Golden Global Group (3G) Inc. was officially incorporated under the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Shortly thereafter, on July 21, 2010, 'Golden Global Group (3G) Limited Partnership' was registered as a limited partnership, governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.

The organization operates with Golden Global Group (3G) Inc. serving as the general partner, ensuring the effective governance of 'Golden Global Group (3G) Limited Partnership.' Our journey is governed by a Limited Partnership Agreement dated August 17, 2010.
